Dear friends,
I should be writing a decent blog post about me, my life in the slow lane, the past few weeks, and more, but instead I have a video to share with you.
One of my all time favorite online websites is TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design). TED is a small non-profit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. I’ve shared some of TED‘s videos on my blog in the past, and I have another one today.
This one is by Canadian Neil Pasricha who uses the power of blogging to spread a little optimism each day about the awesome things that make life worth living. He also recently published his book, aptly named “The Book of Awesome”. I like his animated talk which reminds me of the things that I enjoy or are amazed about in my life.
Many times in the past when I have spent time with my good friend Warren he would say “don’t forget to be awesome!” as we parted ways. This has always stayed with me, and Neil also explores this in his talk, which he refers to as the ‘three A’s of Awesome”. Watch the video below.
And on that note, don’t forget to be awesome!

Hey You,
I was looking for you on Facebook and you weren’t there, but then I found you here!?!?!
Been thinking about you lots lately, will email you properly.
Sending a huge hug from Cape Town!
xx
Allison
Hey Allison, good to hear from you. I am no longer on FB. But I am always here, and I’d love to hear some more from you! Sending hugs right back at ya! X
